Planned Giving

Planned giving is a way of establishing a legacy and investing in society while we live, or through a will or estate after our death. Non-profit groups, social service organizations, churches, hospitals and educational institutions all benefit from the generosity of far-sighted individuals who try to make the world a better place through monetary means, the gift of real property, or other tangible goods of value.

These non-profit organizations play a crucial role in the lives of so many and must rely heavily on the good will of others in order to continue their work. With thoughtful consideration and planning, the organizations you now support can continue to benefit from your generosity beyond this life.

Aside from the benefits derived for the charitable organizations supported by your gifts, you have the satisfaction of knowing you have set in place a process that will allow their work to continue. In addition, there are tax benefits that could assist you and/or your estate.

If you wish to know more about planned giving, contact your favourite non-profit organization, charity or church and ask them how to proceed.
