Bereavement Support Programs at The Grace

The Grace General Hospital's bereavement support programs provide a safe, caring environment in which grieving individuals can express and explore their feelings and begin to resolve grief-related issues in their lives.

The programs are recommended for anyone grieving the loss of a loved-one through death.

The Bereavement Support Group

The group meets once a week, for eight weeks, in the evenings, at The Grace General Hospital.

To register for the next series of weekly meetings, or to find out more about the group, call us at 837-0560.

The Bereavement Support Drop-In Group

The Drop-In Group is intended to offer ongoing support after the death of a loved-one and to provide a safe yet informal environment for people to connect with others who are also grieving. A facilitator will be present to help both individuals and the group deal with any concerns or questions that come up.

The Drop-In program is held the first Wednesday of each month, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Family Room on the Ground Floor at The Grace General Hospital.

For more information, call us at 837-0560.

Grief Seminar and Memorial Service

The Grief Seminar at Grace General Hospital is a 45-minute presentation for individuals who are grieving, normalizing the very personal and individual way in which we grieve. Held four times per year, the seminar precedes a special Memorial Service in the hospital Chapel.

All Grief Seminars are at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium and followed by the Memorial Service in the chapel at 8:15 p.m.
