Seven Oaks General Hospital
Pastoral Care
The Board and management of Seven Oaks General Hospital is officially committed to Spirituality as one of its core values. Our interfaith approach to Spiritual Care includes a dedication to providing direct care to all in need, regardless of their faith tradition or lack thereof. We are also seriously committed to facilitating access to community clergy and volunteer visitors. Roman Catholic clergy and volunteer visitors are often present in our facility. We work closely with a group of local Roman Catholic priests who are available by long range pager 24 hours. Our interfaith Spiritual Care workers/chaplains are available on site Monday - Friday. Chaplains are also accessible by long range pager after hours, including weekends. Roman Catholic Mass is held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 10:30 AM. Educational programs and workshops in Spirituality are offered in conjunction with our Wellness Institute. The names and positions of our Spiritual Care staff are listed below. We welcome your inquiries by phone or email. Our website address is www.sogh.mb.ca

Manitoba Health is in the process of completing its final provincial review of The Personal Health Information Act. Until its completion community clergy will notice little change at Seven Oaks with respect to access of patient names by community clergy. Our access has always been by denomination only. Once the final review is complete we will be contacting parishes with our final position.
