Nathanael

Who is Nathanael for?

Personal & Spiritual Growth

  • Nathanael is for anyone who wishes to grow both personally and spiritually.

  • Nathanael is a response to the grace of baptism already present in each one of us to deepen our love, experience, and knowledge of God in our lives and to express that in our service to our neighbor.

  • Nathanael process provides an opportunity for all to grow in:

    • Self knowledge
    • Self confidence
    • Ability and willingness to take personal risks
    • Provides a spirit of adventure... which always happens when the Holy Spirit is involved

Spouses

Spouses are encouraged to participate in the formation process and grow together in their experience of family life and shared love. It is therefore desirable that they grow together in their understanding of the call to ministry.

Community

Nathanael candidates are baptized men and women who have applied for this formation process and have been accepted by their bishop or his delegate. The selection process respects the wishes of the local Church, the giftedness of the individual and discernment of ministry. In the case of married candidates, the spouses must consent to their applications.
