How will stewardship build a church of communion?

As we recognize our gifts and become aware that God is the source of those gifts, we understand our call to become more active in our parish community. As we use these gifts to build up our parish community, we also build up the local church. Collaborating and enabling people to discover and use their gifts is a significant element of a church of communion.

How will your gift be used in support of this priority?

It will:

• Support the diocesan stewardship office which provides guidance, training and resources to parish leadership and stewardship teams.
   
• Strengthen deanery and diocesan stewardship initiatives such as stewardship retreats andstewardship days.
   
• Provide resources that guide parish stewardship teams in their stewardship education and formation efforts.
