To Build COMMUNITY

How is community built in the Archdiocese?

Each time we gather as a parish, we are building communion within our faith community. In the same way, when we gather as deaneries or at archdiocesan celebrations, we are building communion with all of the baptized in our archdiocese. The work of parish pastoral councils, deanery pastoral councils and the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council and the interaction between them has at its heart the building of community in our Archdiocese.

To Build COMMUNITY

How will your gift support the continued building of community in the Archdiocese?

It will:

  • Unite your parish with other parish communities through a link with the deanery and the diocese in the Deanery Pastoral Council and the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council.

  • Enable more deanery gatherings and events such as stewardship days, deanery days and deanery meetings.

  • Support the work of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, Deanery Pastoral Councils and Parish Pastoral Councils.

  • Continue to enable the work of the church in social justice by supporting our missions and Micah House.
