The Stewardship Vision for the Archdiocese of Winnipeg Every baptized person is endowed with indispensable gifts for the service of the Church and the world. 1 The vision for Stewardship in the Archdiocese of Winnipeg is that all the baptized will embrace stewardship as a way of life, acknowledging God as the creator and giver of all that they have, and who they are, and ever will be.

In gratitude for their many gifts, and in response to their baptismal call, all will be eager to share their gifts out of love for God, and one another.

All will know that...for Disciples of Christ stewardship is not an option.

A Stewardship Prayer

Almighty God, I give thanks for all that I have and all that I am. Most of all, I give thanks for the great gift of Your Son, Jesus. I pray that through a personal relationship with the Risen Christ, my heart will be open to continued conversion in my life. I pray that I may be a good steward: that I will follow faithfully, serve joyfully, give generously, live responsibly, and possess sensibly. In gratitude for the abundant gifts You have so graciously given to me, I return to You the first fruits of these gifts, through acts of service and by generously sharing all that You have entrusted to me. Heavenly Father, by Your Holy Spirit, help me to be a gift to others, in Your name.
