The CCYMN is a representative network of designated Canadian Catholic diocesan/eparchial youth ministry leaders who advocate for, promote and celebrate youth and youth ministry - in support of each other within the mission of the Catholic Church.
The Network was established to help diocesan/eparchial youth ministry leaders communicate more easily with each other for mutual support, collaboration and development in respective ministries. Our local and regional diversity enriches the tapestry that is youth ministry in Canada, and provides the possibility of identifying challenges, trends and opportunities that help us respond to the needs of youth creatively and faithfully.
The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese of Winnipeg holds a membership in CCYMN.
We all serve the youth of our Church in many different ways. Whether you are a paid youth ministry coordinator, volunteer, financial supporter, or a prayer warrior for the youth, we all have a desire to see our youth come to Christ, and to journey with others who feel the same way.
WCACYM exists to be a source of community, networking, support, and professional and spiritual development for everyone involved in youth ministry. Our membership includes youth ministry volunteers, priests and religious, Diocesan and Eparchial directors of youth ministry, educators, paid youth ministry coordinators, and a Bishop Liaison.
